Large Speckle Bowl

A hand-thrown and turned stoneware bowl. White clay/wood ash glaze worked beautifully, showing naturally occurring dark iron speckles from the clay underneath. Very handsome bowl.

All our pots are made with stoneware clay, some with high iron content, and are fired at very high temperatures, 1260-1300 degrees, with mild to heavy reduction.

These pots are dishwasher safe, although washing by hand is the best option.
